Accessibility statement.
Last updated · 18 May 2026
We build tools to help merchants make their stores more accessible — and we hold ourselves to the same standard on our own site. This page sets out what we aim for, what we ship today, and how to flag problems if you find any.
Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on clevyre.com wherever feasible, and to move closer over time on the pages that fall short.
What this site ships today
- Skip-to-main-content link on every page.
- Keyboard navigation throughout, with a visible focus indicator.
- Semantic HTML and ARIA labels where they help screen readers.
- Sufficient text and UI contrast against backgrounds (including in dark mode).
- Honors
prefers-reduced-motion— animations collapse for visitors who request it. - Descriptive alt text on images, and decorative images marked
aria-hidden. - Responsive layouts that reflow at 320px and at 200% zoom without loss of content.
About the Web Accessibility Widget
Product disclaimer. Clevyre's Web Accessibility Widget provides tools that help shoppers tune your store to their needs and that surface common accessibility improvements. It does not, on its own, guarantee WCAG, EAA, or ADA compliance. Full compliance requires manual testing, content review, and code-level remediation in your theme. We recommend pairing the widget with a broader accessibility programme.
Known limitations
We're actively improving the following on this site:
- Some long-form blog content lacks a per-section table of contents on viewports below 820px — keyboard users can still tab through headings.
- Embedded third-party widgets (analytics, embedded video) may not always inherit our focus and contrast settings.
If you hit a barrier we haven't listed, please tell us — see below.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier on this site, or have a suggestion that would make it easier to use, please contact us. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to fix or schedule fixes within thirty.
Accessibility is ongoing, not a one-time audit. We re-test this site against WCAG 2.2 AA on each material release and update this statement when scope changes.
